The Emporia Farmers Market is hosting this year’s Pasta Palooza for the riders of the Dirty Kanza 200 and members of the community.

Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased from the market’s website, http://www.emporiafarmersmarket.org/dk200pasta.html or from Tracy Simmons, market manager, at 701 Commercial St., Suite 202.

Cost of the ticket, $10 when purchased in advance, includes an all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner with salad. The meal also includes one serving of garlic bread and cookies. Community members who would like to dine with the Dirty Kanza Riders are encouraged to purchase their tickets in advance as the number of meals served will be limited this year and the market will not guarantee at-the-door ticket availability.

The meal will be served from 4-7:30 PM on Friday, May 31 at St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 838 Commercial. A limited number of seats for dining will be available inside. Seating for outside dining will be available and, as well, take out meals will be provided for riders needing to attend meetings at the Granada.
